Wordpress

It’s been a little while since I last perused the Wordpress website, wordpress being the software I use to run all of my websites, I was pleasantly surprised. My main reason for visiting the WP site was to update some of the themes I use, mainly for this and my ashtanga yoga website, and the themes are looking really slick now.
Afterwards I decided to peruse the plug-ins, and more pleasant surprises, there’s one that allows you to include multiple RSS feeds in one post or page (www.colincaprani.com/programming/multifeedsnap), and two others. One allows you to email the users who have registered on your site (wordpress.org/extend/plugins/email-users), and one that automatically sends emails to users - depending on their preference settings or not (wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscribe2) .
Finally the Wordpress software itself (I just upgraded to the latest version tonight, quick and easy of course), is getting better and better. So a big thanks to all those people who provide the tools I use for free. THANK YOU ALL.

I let go of the past and focus on the now.
Like a surfer riding the crest of a wave,
I let the future take care of itself.

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”, Michael Jordan
